doctor of philosophy

Just read this post this morning and while it is a bit cheesy (and completely unconfirmed), it’s interesting. Check it out:

I’ve read that before, and if this teacher/student conversation is more than urban legend, then Einstein had a poor philosophy teacher. Still–the points made are valid. There are few words that begin to describe God, and most (though not all) of them are negative descriptions, and say more about what we are not than what He Is: He is Other, He is Divine, He is Holy.

Hebrew/Jewish faith retains the best descriptions of Him: I Am That I Am. The Lord Our God, The Lord is One.

He Is. And our only link to Him Who Is, is faith. Good post. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Thanks, Trey.

Like I said, I have no idea if the story is true or not. (I would guess that it is not, though some legitimate points are made through it.) Either way, I thought it was interesting.
